Spencer Kiper
Spencer Kiper sees learning as an organic experience that happens everyday in the world around us. A huge proponent of both industry and higher education partnerships, Spencer strives to elevate the work of his students by engaging them in authentic, collaborative work involving experts and institutions outside of his classroom. Spencer holds degrees in English and Biology Education (Louisiana State University), Educational Technology (American College of Education), Cyber Education (Louisiana Tech), and Educational Administration and Supervision (University of Phoenix). For eight years, Spencer has worked at the grassroots level to establish a custom STEM program and lab at his school in Bossier City, Louisiana where over one hundred students are served annually. In July of 2018, Spencer was name the 2019 Louisiana State Teacher of Year and serves as a global ambassador to the STEM education community. When Spencer is not working, you can find him volunteering with Civil Air Patrol or traveling with his family and friends.
