Established in 2009, STEM Revolution founders are MIT and Stanford doctorates that have been successful entrepreneurs on leading edge technologies and education.

Dr. Lorna Finman is a visionary in the field of STEM and future workforce education, dedicated to unlocking the inherent potential of all students and equipping them for future success. She is the architect behind innovative teacher training programs, curriculum designs, and educational methodologies, aimed particularly at elevating the achievements of historically underperforming students. Through these efforts, Dr. Finman seeks to boost students' global competitiveness, enhance their career prospects, and position them to contribute to the workforce of tomorrow.

Dr. Finman's fervor for education was ignited following a fruitful career which encompassed roles such as a NASA astronaut candidate, a program manager at Raytheon, and CEO of the multimillion-dollar firm, LCF Defense Enterprises. After helping to establish a STEM charter school model that not only achieved the highest state test performance but also nurtured a culture of innovation - culminating in accomplishments like satellite launches and multiple innovation contest victories - she was invited by the UAE’s Minister of Education to replicate this model across the nation's school system.

In a remarkable span of just three years, Dr. Finman successfully revolutionized the entire country's educational landscape by introducing a novel teaching approach. Through both onsite and an online Learning Management System (LMS), she trained thousands of teachers, administrators, and faculty members in 'divergent teaching,' a method that promotes creativity and innovation while also improving traditional test scores and performance metrics.
