Jeff Remington

Jeff Remington has enthusiastically championed the power of STEM and mentorship as a means to improving people's lives. As a lifelong learner himself, he especially enjoys being on the giving and receiving end of educational mentorship opportunities. Jeff studied the sciences and education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Adult Training and Development at Pennsylvania State University. Jeff is a public school science & STEM teacher with over 32 years of experience. In addition, he has taught at the graduate and undergraduate level for over 20 years at Lebanon Valley College. He has received numerous awards and honors throughout his career including the Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching, The Paul DeHart Hurd National Award for Exemplary Middle Level Science Teaching and Leadership, and The Nevelyn J. Knisley Award for Inspirational Teaching by a Lebanon Valley College Adjunct Faculty Member. In addition, he is one of 10 National STEM Teacher Ambassadors and has done keynote presentations for a variety of venues. Jeff has helped to create and sustain science and technology classrooms in St. Marc, Haiti, and has been an advocate for decreasing the digital divide that exists between developed and underdeveloped nations. Jeff lives in Palmyra, Pennsylvania with his wife Helen. He is the proud father of three grown children as well as a proud Pop-Pop to Luke. Jeff counts his work with STEM Revolution as some of the most rewarding educational experiences he has had.
