Jayda Pugliese

Jayda Pugliese believes that anything is possible with passion, empathy, and 21st century learning skills. Through the use of the design thinking process and innovative instructional approaches, Jayda consistently aims to generate real-world connections to subject area content through hands-on experiences. She studied at Holy Family University receiving her degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education (BA), TESOL and Literacy (M.Ed). She also nearly finished her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership with a focus in STEM Education. Jayda has spent 10 years in elementary and high school classrooms, working as a special education teacher, ESL teacher, and STEM teacher. She is now currently serves as an elementary school principal. Because of her innovative work in education, she received the 2016 Milken Educator Award, the 2018 National Science Teacher Association Sylvia Shugrue Award, and was a 2019 PA Teacher of the Year Finalist. In her free time, Jayda enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She also loves learning about and testing the latest technologies.

As a trainer for STEM Revolution, I am able to share my passion for STEM Education in one of the most rewarding ways possible. And, I have found the STEM Revolution team is exceptional in exchanging ideas, collaborating, and developing ways we can all make a positive impact on our communities, our countries, and our world.
